Hurst Morris Dancers [HuMP] In the practice season – usually between September and April – we meet on Thursday evenings in Hurst Village Hall, School Road, Hurst, Berkshire. 8.00pm – 10.00pm.

HuMP do take bookings to appear at village fetes, carnivals, weddings and other events and keeps on top of running costs by making a small charge in some cases. If you’d like to book, please feel free to get in touch. One word of advice, though. We get booked up very early in the practice season – often months before the actual dance season of May to September – so do give us bags of notice and we’ll see what we can do!

Sonning & District Link of the Chernobyl Children LifeLine We are a local group of a national charity [see www.chernobylchildlifeline.org for more details].

We give groups of Belarussian children a four week break in the UK to help them improve their immune systems, with fresh air and fresh food. Each local link group is responsible for raising the funds to bring over the children they host each year. We bring different children each time. We are always looking to expand our group of volunteers, hosts, sponsors and to add new events to the programme for them while they are here. We send each child home with useful gifts for their families.
