The Group of Companies.
The IJP Group of Companies are all based at Hampstead Farm, Binfield Heath.

The parent company of the Group, IJP Building Conservation Ltd specialise in the sensitive repair of historic buildings. Formed in 1986, they are now well established and respected as one of the leading conservation contractors in the United Kingdom with a highly skilled team of craftsmen including plasterers, carpenters, joiners, bricklayers, stonemasons, millwrights and blacksmiths. Their diverse range of skills allows them to work on many important buildings, carrying out timber repairs, fine joinery, carving, stone work, lime plastering and rendering, cob and wychert repairs and hand-forged iron work.

Lime Technology Ltd are pioneers in the field of applying the latest in dry mortar technology to the long established use of lime mortar. This has, for the first time, allowed lime to be considered as a real substitute for cement in the new build market. Under the brand name Limetec, ready mixed dry hydraulic lime mortars are available in three different strengths in sizes from 25kg bags to bulk silos delivered to site using tankers. Bespoke products, such as coloured mortars are also available for larger projects, along with four kinds of spray application lime renders and plasters.

Old House Store is the retail outlet of the IJP Group of Companies and has its' own shop premises at Hampstead Farm. It was originally born out of frustration when trying to source traditional building materials for their parent company IJP. Their basic philosophy is based on the sympathetic and authentic conservation and repair of old buildings, but the ecological basis of their products makes them equally suitable for new-build projects. Old House Store materials have been used on numerous National Trust, English Heritage and Historic Royal Palaces buildings as well as privately owned historic houses.
