Photography is merely a process that, with some technical limitations, allows me to record what I see. These images are born simply out of scrutinising what is mostly the ordinary & everyday; objects in moments of time - there for anyone who cares to stop & look.

But there’s little point in trying to work out what these images ‘are’ or what they are ‘of’. They aren’t rock or water or metal any more, & they don’t have any hidden ‘meaning’ or ‘message’ - they don’t ‘represent’ anything. What they ‘are’ are ‘things’ I once saw, metamorphosed through photography into abstract images. Nothing more, nothing less.
